For over 33 years Bo suffered from morbid obesity, at the height of his weight gain he weighed 626 lbs and all he wanted was to feel normal. His life was full of physical pain, emotional torment, and isolation. The pounds had taken control of his life. Through faith, friendship, and medical assistance he found the strength to tackle the biggest obstacle of his life. He had RNY surgery on July 31, 2002. Since his surgery he has re-created his life and he know feels he is living life for the first time!

Bo holds a Bachelor of Science in Management (Marketing) and is currently seeking his MBA/Marketing from University of Phoenix online. His goals are to achieve his Doctorate in Marketing and teach college students. Fluent in French and a self-proclaimed Francophile, Bo dreams spending his retirement years living abroad in Europe.

For nearly 5 years Bo has been apart of the ObesityHelp.com team of professionals working with clients, hospitals, and vendors to strategize, plan, and execute marketing strategy on the ObesityHelp website and service lines. As the Director of Sales for ObesityHelp.com Bo has been given the opportunity to impart his unique knowledge of bariatrics to the clients he serves. A vital part of his work-life is his ability to directly relate bariactric marketing concepts to surgeons, hospitals, and programs.

For fun Bo swims, scuba dives and enjoys reading, surfing the Internet, dramatic movies and traveling to places that are full of culture. Bo has a beautiful daughter, age 3.5, Baili, who is the highlight of his life and hopes to share with her his new-found joys and passions for life and the world.
